Benesse House Oval
On Naoshima Island in Shikoku, an oval-shaped hotel is seamlessly integrated into the rolling hills of the Setonaikai National Park. Established in 1995 as part of the Benesse Art Site Naoshima project, this architectural gem embodies the harmonious blend of nature, art, and design. Over time, the building appears to have organically blended with the park, merging with the lush vegetation and becoming deeply embedded in the earth. This was the vision of the legendary Japanese architect Tadao Ando, who dedicated his heart and effort to this project.

Access to this retreat is exclusive to guests, with just six rooms available.
